It was purchased by this organisation after closure by the Department of Justice in 1951 and is now classified as an Historic Place. Open plan, and easy to find what you're looking for, there is always someone ready to help you decide what you need. We recently (winter 2019) renovated and earthquake strengthened our reception, retail and consultation area in the old historic courthouse building and added an extra consultation room to allow for the increasing amount of companion animal work we are doing.
